Robert Ayland
Remember Coombs and Ridgeon? Well, from 1990-95 Rob was Managing Partner of Gloucester's longest established Used Car Dealership, which sold over 1,000 vehicles per annum. He then moved on to Warners of Gloucester Ltd where as Managing Director he looked after a total of 6 Rover, Citroen and Peugeot dealerships located in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. In March 2003 Rob became Managing Director of Colt Cars Mid-West, the retail operation of Mitsubishi Motors UK, where he was in charge of over 200 staff, 11 dealerships and a bodyshop.
Rob’s hobbies include motorcycles and bike racing. He’s also an Aston Villa season ticket holder, a supporter of Cheltenham Town F.C. fan and enjoys watching his son play cricket. In his spare time Rob is honoured to serve as Chairman of the Old Spot Trust, a charity that raises money for Gloucestershire good causes. Rob has owned a Ferrari, a couple of Porsches and an Aston Martin and is therefore well qualified - and very happy - to advise customers on the specification and pricing of any car in the UK.
Stephen Jones
I left school at the age of sixteen to begin an apprenticeship in electronic engineering. 4 years and two qualifications in Electrical and Electronic Engineering later, an opportunity to work within the motor industry arose and I joined Mitsubishi Motors Cheltenham and Gloucester as a Sales Executive.
During my time with the company I was also able to develop my I.T. and customer relations skills as well as greatly increase my knowledge of vehicles as I learnt how a motor dealership operates. After two years I was offered the chance to further my career by joining the Completely Motoring team.
